By Last week, the Iinternational Conference ‘Women Deliver’ was held in Kigali, Rwanda. Over 6,000 participants from all over the world attended this event activating for positive change. The event amplified the visibility, vitality and voice of Catholic sisters in responding to the challenges and opportunities that female religious leaders face within their organisations and communities.
Among the panellists was our very own project assistant in Kenya, Sr. Hedwig Muse. She presented and described the Pax Christi International project in Kenya: ‘Empowering religious sisters on Active NonViolence and Peacebuilding’. Additionally, our solidarity partner, the Hilton Foundation was represented by the CEO and Program Manager Sr. Jane Wakahiu.
