Belgium: BePax offering a 17 May training in Brussels on "Deconstructing conspiracy theories"

 

8/5/18 - BePax will be offering a training on "Deconstructing conspiracy theories" in Brussels on 17 May. In order to equip educational actors, in order to support young people in the knowledge and deciphering of conspiracy, BePax offers a training that aims to deconstruct conspiracy speeches.

This training offers you the basic mechanisms of the plot conspiracy (at the level of rhetoric and the construction of videos) and issues related to this phenomenon (link with propaganda, racism and radicalism). In terms of know-how, we will review computer tools, reading grids and a pedagogical approach to put into practice to analyse the productions of conspiracy types. We will also discuss attitudes that facilitate work with young people around this theme.
