Democratic Republic of Congo: Our partner organisation LIFDED gives training on nonviolence in Kinshasa

1/12/18 - Eight-eight students, among them 55 young women and 33 young men, with three assistants as well as three Pauline priests, took part in an information and awareness activity in the "Paulus Communication" PACOM room. The objective of the activity was to bring students to contribute to peace and active nonviolence in this time of tension and crisis. Only building peace and positive attitudes can save our process.

The trainer of the day insisted on the rupture that must happen with the bad way of life of the political leaders, including the handling and manipulation of the young people as well as the purchase of people's consciences.

The staff of LIFDED wants to stress the fact that the youth strongly mobilised themselves and made a firm commitment to inform their peers about the importance of building peace, living active and evangelical nonviolence and forgiveness.

This activity also saw the presence of the missionary monks of Saint Paul, who welcomed the initiative.
