France: Pax Christi France publishes April newsletter pointing out signs of hope, challenge

In the latest newsletter from Pax Christi France, Catherine Billet opens with a column echoing some of the themes from Pax Christi France's March 11th colloquium while also pointing out signs of hope that the reader will find more of in the issue at hand. She points specifically to the delegation which visited Iraq from April 2-8, where exchanges and dialogues led to understanding and friendship. She also exhorts readers to remember that in the face of violence in our world how important it is to cultivate peace in oneself and to take encouragement from the message of Easter, that the cross of Christ leads to an empty tomb and resurrection.

Later in the issue, there are reports and reflections on the March 11 conference, the work of young members of Pax Christi France, regional activities and Laudato Si.
