France: Pax Christi France publishes latest edition of Journal de la paix on "nonviolent revolution"


The January to March issue of Journal de la paix, the magazine published by Pax Christi France, is available online. The cover story explores the theme of "nonviolent revolution". The opening letter in the issue from Bishop Marc Stenger begins, "In his message of the 1st of January 2017, for the 50th World Day of Peace, Pope Francis talks about nonviolence as "a style of politics for peace". Nonviolence is not a dogma in and of itself. The only absolute is that we have the responsibility and duty to build a culture of peace in a world affected on every side by violence. The question that we must ask ourselves is what are the alternatives to this omnipresent violence and how do we engage? ...
