Pax Christi International publishes 2018 Annual Report, "The Promise of Peace"

21/6/19 - Pax Christi International has published its annual report for 2018 and made the report available online at this link.

The report, entitled, "The Promise of Peace: Annual Report 2018", covers the highlights of the 2018 year from progress on our advocacy priorities to the growth of the Catholic Nonviolence Initiative. It includes updates on our projects in Latin America and the Great Lakes region of Africa, as well as reports on the 2018 Peace Prize and more.

Greet Vanaerschot, Secretary General of Pax Christi International, notes in her introductory letter to the report:

"For Pax Christi International, 2018 was a year that saw us launch a youth training programme in the Great Lakes region of Africa, bring together our member organisations in Latin America in Mexico, mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I in France, and connect academics, theologians, peace practitioners and activists to further develop Catholic thinking on nonviolence. ... If you’ve been part of our work in 2018, we give thanks for your support and witness. We reach millions of people with the promise and challenge of peace because of you."
