Open Call for artists – Terms & Condition Policy

Copyright, Insurance and Legalities 

In relation to all content submitted to the competition, participants: 

a)Guarantee that submissions are the original work of the participant.

b) Guarantee that their submissions has been created solely by the participating author and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights, copyrights, trademarks, commercial names, or any other distinctive signs of third parties or moral rights to privacy/publicity, as well as the intellectual property of a person or entity. 

c)Guarantee that they have obtained the corresponding image rights and authorization to use personal data from all persons that, in any manner, are present in the submission through images, texts, or voice recordings.

d) Guarantee that they comply with the law on intellectual property and image rights. Therefore, the participants, with their participation confirm that they have obtained the corresponding authorisation from the people and places shown in the presented works.  

e) Guarantee that their submissions does not include any  content that could induce violence, that is of a discriminatory or xenophobic nature, that has obscene or suggestive sexual content, that is defamatory and/or threatening; is false or insulting; or, in general, any other content that could be offensive or damage the image and violate the rights of third-party natural and/or legal persons, in addition to content that could be against the law, morals, or public order. 

f) Declare that they hold all the necessary rights for using musical tracks on their artworks. 

g) Grante Pax Christi International a non-exclusive perpetual license to reproduce images of the first 20 selected artwork on https://paxchristi.net/ and on Facebook, Twitter as well as other media outlets.
