On Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 17:30, at the Quaker House (Square Ambiorix 50, 1000, Brussels), an evening of dialogue and witness will take place. The event, co-organised by Pax Christi International together with Quaker Council for European Affairs (QCEA), Pax Christi Vlaanderen and the Higher Presidential Committee of Churches affairs in Palestine, will bring together representatives of the Catholic Church and members of the Palestinian delegation of the Higher Presidential Committee of Churches affairs.
The gathering will offer the opportunity to hear stories of faith and resilience from Palestinian Christian voices, reflecting on life in contexts marked by conflict and ongoing struggle, as well as on the role of peacebuilding in the present day.
At 18:15, will begin the screening of “La Via Dolorosa: the Path of Sorrows”, a four-part documentary tracing 2,000 years of Palestinian Christian history. Through persecution, occupation, and displacement, it tells a powerful story of faith, resilience, and steadfast belonging.
