A Just Peace in the Holy Land
Pax Christi International supports grassroots reconciliation efforts and callsd for an end to the occupation, respect for international law, and protection of civilians. Its commitment to peace in the region has included sustained engagement with partners on the ground, interfaith dialogue, and diplomatic advocacy for a negotiated and rights-based solution.
Integral Human Disarmament & Security
Pax Christi International is actively engaged in promoting integral human disarmament & security at multiple levels. This includes raising awareness and advocating against nuclear and autonomous weapons, the proliferation of small arms and light weapons, as well as supporting community-based initiatives that address the root causes of violence.
Ecological Justice and Energy Transition from a Peacebuilding Approach
Pax Christi International highlights the human rights impacts of multinational-led extractive industries and hold governments and international bodies accountable. It promotes nonviolent approaches, disarmament, and peace initiatives, while supporting interfaith dialogue and advocating for the rights and participation of Indigenous communities and minorities.
