At Pax Christi International, we are pleased to share a new resource developed by the General Secretariat of the Synod, in collaboration with the Catholic Nonviolence Initiative, which speaks directly to one of the most concrete challenges in community life: how to navigate moments of tension and disagreement in a spirit of dialogue and peace.

How to manage conflict in local communities. Tips for Local Synod Facilitators offers both practical tools and a deeply spiritual perspective for those accompanying communities in processes of listening and discernment. This resource reflects a shared commitment to promoting a culture of nonviolence within the Church, in which facilitators are supported in creating spaces of authentic encounter.

We are grateful to be part of this shared effort and invite communities to embrace this resource as a step towards more peaceful and discerning ways of journeying together.
