The Webinar
On 29 September, at 7.00 PM AEST (11.00 AM CEST), Pax Christi Asia Pacific, together with Pax Christi International and the Catholic Nonviolence Initiative (CNI), invited participants to join the webinar “Opting for the Power of Nonviolence over the ‘Logic’ of Violence”.
The event sought to suggest ways of pursuing a genuine alternative to violence, which remains a significant factor in geopolitical decision-making and in the policies of individual states. In the Asia-Pacific region too, despite the legacy of ahimsa and other peace traditions, many continue to suffer the consequences of conflict.
