The light of Christmas has been lit once again. Christians around the world celebrate, in joy and sharing, Jesus Christ, who became human for all of us.

This year, we wish to share our Christmas message directly from Bethlehem, the city that first became the cradle of the Redeemer who came to earth. This message of peace comes from the humanitarian organisations Wi’am and the Arab Educational Institute, which continue to operate in the Holy Land, working for a Just Peace in Palestine and Israel through dialogue and humanity.

May this message of Active Nonviolence touch our hearts and encourage each one of us to commit ourselves, also in the year ahead, to a constant work of peacebuilding.
