Pax Christi International fully supports Kairos Palestine's response to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) regarding Translate Hate: The Catholic Edition. As a Catholic peace movement dedicated to justice, reconciliation, and human dignity, we recognise the serious concerns raised about this document, particularly for Palestinian Christians and the broader Palestinian community, as it fails to acknowledge their suffering and the ongoing quest for justice.

We believe that efforts to combat hatred should never come at the expense of those who are already marginalised. True interfaith dialogue must be inclusive and recognise the lived experiences of all communities, including Palestinians and Palestinian Christians. Only then can we build genuine understanding and justice for all.

In response, Kairos Palestine has issued a powerful letter highlighting the impact of this document on their community. We urge you to read and reflect on their message, which calls for a more inclusive and just conversation.

As a Catholic peace movement, we are committed to building lasting peace through justice. We invite all people of faith and goodwill to join us in supporting Kairos Palestine's call for a Church that listens to all voices, especially those facing injustice and oppression.
