On Tuesday September 24th 2024, Giulia Bordin, Advocacy officer at Pax Christi International, joined the meeting hosting the Third Caravan for Integral Ecology organised in Brussels by COMECE together with the network Iglesias y Minería (which PCI is member of), CIMI, REPAM, CIDSE, Caritas Europa and Manos Unidas.
The Caravan for Integral Ecology highlights the complex relationships between the Global North and South, where tensions arise from dominant economic and environmental systems. Spanning several European countries, the Caravan’s goal is to draw attention to the climate crisis and the neglect of communities in resource-rich areas.
The meeting in Brussels fostered a productive exchange between the caravan members and various civil society organisations, focusing on potential collaboration and advocacy efforts.

-
Christian Crevels, Brazil, member of the Indigenous Missionary Council (CIMI);
