Since November 11th, 2024, Pax Christi Scotland has started a seven month-project exploring: Advancing Nonviolence and Peace in the church and the world, a book by Pax Christi International’s Catholic Nonviolence Initiative.

Anna Blackman, a lecturer in Catholic Religious Education at Glasgow University and member of the Education Committee for the Catholic Nonviolence Initiative,  will lead the discussions of the monthly sessions, which will run through to May 2025. Anna also gave a presentation in the seminar: ‘The Role of the Church in Nurturing a Global Nonviolent Shift‘, in the inaugural series of the Catholic Institute for Nonviolence.The upcoming sessions will take place on:

  • Monday, January 13th, 2025 – 8.00-9.30 p.m. (Brussels time)
  • Monday, February 10th, 2025 – 8.00-9.30 p.m. (Brussels time)
  • Monday, March 17th, 2025 – 8.00-9.30 p.m. (Brussels time)
  • Monday, April 14th, 2025 – 8.00-9.30 p.m. (Brussels time)
  • Monday, May 12th, 2025 – 8.00-9.30 p.m. (Brussels time)
