Pax Christi International (PCI) Co-President Sr. Wamuyu Wachira and Africa Regional Coordinator Mr. Dieudonné Serukabuza recently convened with PCI member organizations in Kenya: Amani Communities Africa (ACA), Peace Tree Network, and Chemchemi Ya Ukweli.
The primary focus of the conversation was the establishment of Pax Christi East and Horn of Africa, an important step towards fostering peace in the region.
As part of the ongoing process, discussions delved into crafting the necessary structures such as statutes, internal rules, and legal registrations, with Pax Christi International’s representatives providing valuable input and clarifications.
The meeting took place in the culturally rich Massaï and Sr. Wamuyu Wachira and Dieudonné Serukabuza were warmly welcomed with traditional loincloths.
With cultural symbolism, meaningful discussions, and collaborative efforts, this meeting marked a significant milestone in the journey towards establishing Pax Christi East and Horn of Africa.
