We share the appeal of the Europe–Central Africa network (EurAc), which has published a statement in support of the European Union’s decision to end financial support to Rwanda under the European Peace Facility (EPF).
This assistance, in fact, carried a significant risk of being channelled into funds and support for the M23 rebel group, which is responsible for serious human rights violations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
EurAc members strongly call for a definitive confirmation of this decision, in line with an EU policy aimed at promoting peace and protecting the rights of all.
