On 15 April 2025, Pax Christi International hosted a powerful conversation with Usama Nicola of Wi’am – The Palestinian Conflict Transformation Center, live from Bethlehem. The conversations provided invaluable insights into resilience, compassion, and the pursuit of justice in the region.

With courage, clarity, and deep humanity, Usama shared stories of daily life under occupation, the unspoken struggles of communities in the West Bank, and the enduring spirit of nonviolence. From the personal to the political, the conversation reminded us that peacebuilding is not abstract: it is lived, every day, often against impossible odds
