On September 26, 2024, Pax Christi International, with the support of the Pax Christi Fund for Peace, hosted the webinar “Ecological Conversion, Nonviolence, and the Role of the Catholic Church”.

The event, moderated by Fr. Joe Nangle, OFM, board member of the Pax Christi Fund for Peace, featured an inspiring dialogue between Amy Echeverria (Columban Missionaries) and Fr. James E. Hug, S.J. (Adrian Dominican Sisters). Our speakers discussed the interconnectedness of nonviolence and ecological care, emphasizing that the underlying causes of environmental destruction often stem from violence and exploitation.
