By On April 20th, Giulia Bordin, PCI Advocacy Officer, took part in the Pax Christi Italy General Assembly, participating in a panel discussion titled “At the Heart of Europe, Peace.”
The discussion centred around the status of peaceful and nonviolent movements within the EU, alongside the presentation of the recent declaration directed towards MEPs by the PCI European Sections. This panel discussion provided a platform for dialogue and shared learning, highlighting the strong collaboration within the movement.
Martha Inés Romero, General Secretary of PCI, contributed to the event by sending a letter, which was read at the beginning of the PCI intervention. In her letter, she expressed gratitude to Pax Christi Italy for its consistent and knowledgeable contribution to the movement throughout the years. She voiced hope that this support will remain steadfast in the future, ensuring the backing of the PCI secretariat.
